SOUTH COAST BALTIC Boating Rallies: East Route postponed to 2022, West Route to 2023

Due to the Corona pandemic, the SOUTH COAST BALTIC Rallies will have to be canceled again for 2021. “The Corona situation is still too unstable and uncertain to be sure that the event could finally take place and be properly implemented”, explains Jens Masuch from SOUTH COAST BALTIC. “Of course there is hope that the situation will improve in the next few weeks. The necessary certainty that we would need to make the final arrangements – and that our participants need to start their journeys or to finally confirm their charter boats – is unfortunately not in place. With a heavy heart, we therefore have to postpone both our Rally on the East Route that was planned in June 2021 and the flotilla trip on the West Route in August 2021 on the western route once again. ”

Sailors and motorboaters will get the next opportunity to discover the SOUTH COAST BALTIC together with others next year. In June 2022, the Rally on the East Route from Gdańsk / Poland via Kaliningrad / Russia to Klaipėda and Nida in Lithuania will be offered again. In August 2023, the international flotilla will then sail on the West Route from Bornholm / Denmark along the Polish coast to Vorpommern in Germany. The SOUTH COAST BALTIC Rally is thus returning to its regular cycle and will take place again on the East Route and the West Route in alternating years.

“Many of the sailors and motorboaters who wanted to take part in 2020 or 2021 have already expressed their interest in joining in our flotilla trip next year.  We are really looking forward to finally set sail together. All good things come in threes! ””, says Jens Masuch.

Signing in for the SOUTH COAST BALTIC Rally Gdańsk – Kaliningrad – Klaipėda – Nida 2022, which will take place from 26 June to 5 July 2022, is possible from June 2021. Registration for the flotilla trip on the west route in Aug 2023 will open in summer 2022. Pre-reservations are possible already now by sending an e-mail to
