The international flotilla of the SOUTH COAST BALTIC Boating Rally starts 2019 for the fourth time. After leaving Bornholm on 4th August, the rally – for the first time on a western route – will take place via West Pomerania to Vorpommern. Stopovers will be made at Darłowo (Rügenwalde), Kołobrzeg (Kolberg), Šwinoujscie (Swinemünde), Szczecin (Stettin), Krummin, Peenemünde, Greifswald and Kröslin. The trip ends on 14th August with a farewell party at the Baltic Sea Resort in Kröslin.
Conditions of participation for the SOUTH COAST BALTIC Boating Rally 2019 Bornholm – Zachodniopomorskie – Western Pomerania
As always, both boat owners and charterers can participate. SOUTH COAST BALTIC offers them together with the local partners, the regional community Bornholm, city Darłowo, Baltic seaside resort Heringsdorf, tourism association Vorpommern, Westpomeranian Sailingroute and Żegluga Szczecińka an attractive package. For example, the berths are free of charge and an attractive land programme awaits the participants at every stopover. The only restriction is that this time the boats may only have a maximum draught of 2.2 metres, as the route runs through the flat Peene river.
Participation in the flotilla is free of charge and includes the fees for all berths. The sightseeing programmes in Svaneke (Bornholm), Darłowo (Rügenwalde), Kołobrzeg (Kolberg), Šwinoujscie (Swinemünde), Szczecin (Stettin), Krummin, Peenemünde, Greifswald and Kröslin are also free of charge. They are organised by local partners. The binding registration for the flotilla is by e-mail at info@southcoastbaltic.eu until 30th of April 2019 or earlier (Attention: the number of participants is limited). Participating boats should not have a draught of more than 2.2 metres, as the Peene river is very shallow even in the fairway.
